When in Rome

Rome...oorrrr...Florida. I adore this. Mixing badass pieces (jacket and clutch) with a classic top and a feminine skirt makes this outfit unique and so trendy. Try romantic curls or a bun...anything works. You'll have miles of leg showing so don't skimp on the body butter, dolls.

Maxi Skirt: Must Have

I LOVE this olive green maxi skirt. Not like how I love my favorite lotion or my favorite blanket...more like how I love my iPhone (mega mega). I found this skirt at H&M and it's the most comfortable purchase I've made in a minute. Paired with a plain white J.Crew v-neck and some fun safari-esqe shoes and accessories and you've got yourself an outfit. Talk about comfort!

Daily Fashion Find

These Messeca Sasha haircalf pumps are phenomenal. I love the dimension they have with the two different fabrics but the gold section is what I really fell in love with. Per-fection.

Recycle Your Favorite Pieces

For all my NYC honeys...a Carrie Bradshaw-esqe way to wear a comfy grey sweatshirt 3 ways. Toss this Saint Laurent sweatshirt over a white Alexander McQueen dress for a comfy but cute day outfit. Mix this grey sweatshirt with Emilio Pucci stretch leather pants for an early evening look that will last into the night. For a last look, try the sweatshirt with a more feminine floral skirt, like this one by Dolce & Gabbana. Recycling is so trendy.

Shellac & Sparkles

Every trip to the nail salon involves a thirty minute discussion with Vivienne, my go-to manicurist, on what color to get. I went back to my typical Linkin Park After Dark style nails. Vivienne is always begging me to spice things up with a little curve ball on my ring finger. Fine, Vivienne. Sparkles it is.

Take Your Pick

My vote is Zendaya Coleman. Tutu-like bottom and leopard print on the top...mad I don't own this...yet. I just think Rumor has a little too much going on with that hair - I'm having a hard time focusing on the cuteness of this ensemble. It's just a little more flattering on Zendaya.

Kate Knows Best

When Kate Spade is right...well, she's just right. A coworker of mine pointed this bag out to me and it couldn't be more up my alley. As a tequila-fan (until the next morning), I know the importance of a greasy breakfast sandwich the following day.

Learn to Dress Your Body Type: Part 2

...and keep taking notes.

Learn to Dress Your Body Type: Part 1

Take notes, ladies.

Knowing Your Body Type

Knowing your body type is like knowing your blood type...super important. Ok, a little dramatic but you get the point. Open any women's magazine and you are almost certain to find a guide on dressing for your body type. I have a list of pet peeves, but somewhere at the top of that list is people who can't dress for what the good Lord gave them. Step number one to dressing in something suitable is knowing your body type. Knowing this will at least help you navigate through the dressing guides.

Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow

Wearing yellow just makes you feel like a little ball of sunshine. Wearing a fun colored blazer makes you feel so sassy. Yellow blazer? Mega. This blazer from H&M, is the perfect start into a beautiful Florida spring. I paired this new blazer with black high-waisted black pants, black platform heels and a black blouse. Rocking a chunky bangle and blingy earrings added a little splash of fun to the all black and yellow ensemble. Helloooooo spunk.
