4 Ways to Wear a White Tee: Look 4

Last, but definitely not least...our final white tee look. The leather shorts toughen up the plain top. All black and white leaves room for shoes with lots of personality and some fun jewelry. Smudge this cobalt blue  shadow, by Georgia Armani, under your bottom lashes for a little rock and roll glam. Top of your makeup with a couple extra coats of your blackest mascara. Wait...I want these shorts...

4 Ways to Wear a White Tee: Look 3

Time to take our white tees to the workplace, lovely ladies. If you know me, you know I am obsessed with what my girlfriends refer to as "granny floral". This blazer is fabulous. Paired with skinny black jeans, our staple white shirt and these studded pumps...just perfection. I'm picturing a middle part with Kardashian waves...but that's just me. Do your thing, girls.

4 Ways to Wear a White Tee: Look 2

As we continue on our endeavor to find four fabulous ways to wear your favorite white t-shirt, we move into super girlie glam land (my fave). I love this tee paired with this fabulous red tutu skirt and leopard print heels (no one is surprised that I chose these, I'm sure). The soft green Banana Republic are a fun contrast from the harsh red and animal print. Stay fierce with a blunt red lip and red nails to finish the look.

4 Ways to Wear a White Tee: Look 1

Everyone owns a favorite white t-shirt. So...why not utilize this staple piece more? Here is one classic way to wear your oh-so-comfy white shirt. What's more American than a white shirt, boyfriend jeans and aviators? Put a feminine twist on this comfy look with leopard smoking slippers, a fun colored bag, patterned scarf and some low-key jewelry.

Weekend Wear

Living in Florida means summery clothes, regardless of the season. Taking a weekend trip to Siesta Key, Miami, Key Largo? Here is a perfect guide to a day outfit that works for everyone. These are staple pieces that almost everyone has...striped or vintage t-shirt, larger totes, sandals and a maxi.

A Top Coat That Tops Them All

I've been painting my own nails since I was probably 4-years-old so one might say that I've got it down after 21 years. I've tried splurging on the top brands of top coat and I've tried buying the $2 bottle at CVS in a pinch. I've tried it all and my experience tells me Seche Vite is still the best of the best. I find mine at Target. Enjoy the shiny, long-lasting color.

Ombre for All

Ombre is not just for long locks, ladies. I love Miley's hair here...makes me want this exact look. Carefully choose your shades. I love that Miley's darkest shade appears to be her natural color, matching her brows. Bored with your current color? Spice it up and go all ombre on everyone!

Fashion Friday

My co-worker, Christina, came into work with these fun combat boots and tights and I couldn't NOT love it. Christina found these boots at Journey's and these fun tights at Cotton On. These boots would also be great with skinnies, feminine dresses or high-waisted shorts. Love it, Christina...keep rocking, sugar.

Minkoff is SO Maj

It's safe to say I'm obsessed with all things Rebecca Minkoff. I just think she is a fashion genius. As a Scorpio, I can appreciate this precious chain necklace. Love these two necklaces mixed together, both by the stylist. Mix your own necklaces for a similar look and get your glam on!

Cutesy Collar

I love this trend. This sheer houndstooth ivory top (from Gap) needed a little something. This was the perfect opportunity to wear this vintage necklace that I've had for 6 months but have never worn. Layer one of your favorite chunky necklaces with a collared shirt and transform your outfit!

How to Wear Day Two Hair

Our hair stylists tell us not to wash our hair everyday. So...what's a girl to do with her second day hair? Braids, buns, ponies and bobby pins are your best friends, girlfriend. I love this messy braid - totally perfect for less-than-clean hair. To refresh before styling and braiding, try dry shampoo.

Let's Talk Tights

Add a little something this winter to those legs that can act as an accessory all their own! Patterned tights are perfect with heels, ankle boots, tall boots and everything in between. Pair with high-waisted shorts, skirts and dresses. Spend a lot or spend a little, these fun tights are easy to find.

Keratin's Killin' It

I maintain after trying a million different dry shampoos that Suave is my favorite. However, they have really outdone themselves with this Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo. Not only does it smell amazing (hair perfume), but it does wonders for your tresses. Over time, your hair's natural keratin is stripped, making it frizzy, unmanageable and difficult to style. This product pumps keratin back into your locks, helping absorb oil, refreshing hair and even extending your blowout. Eat your heart out, bargain shoppers.

Green Like Money, Honey

As I mentioned, green is the color of 2013...why not mix it into your makeup wardrobe as well?  Green shadow was a huge 2012 trend that will easily carry over into this year. Think less lime green and more metallic emerald green for a more tasteful look. If you are a tad nervous about this look, try a little green under your bottom lashes instead of eyeliner. Since this a bolder look, keep everything else simple with a subtle pink cheek and nude lips.

Cinderella's Modern Slipper

I was sucked in by the red silky lining and velour texture but then this smoking slipper/heel combo captured my attention indefinitely. While I usually love Cole Haan for his classic purses and ever-so-comfortable and timeless driving loafers, but these beauties are major. The perfect spin on the trendy smoking slipper...I like this change-up.

Work it at Work

Just because you are going to work, doesn't mean you can't wear work-appropriate, pretty makeup. To get my everyday look, I start by filling in my eyebrows with Ulta's brow pencil in warm brown. Next, I apply eyelid primer to entire eyelid. Once my lids are primed, I use e.l.f. Golden Bronzer (comes with four shades and doubles as eye shadow), placing the lightest champagne hue in the inner corners of my eyes and on my brow bone. I then apply a medium brown shadow to the majority of my eyelid, adding a dark chocolate brown to the crease and outer area (I use L'Oreal's Wear Infinite Studio Secrets in Rose Fields). Using a Q-tip, smudge that same dark chocolate brown along your bottom lashes instead of liner. Finish up with liquid liner (my favorite is Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen in Black) and a few coats of mascara (I mix Bad Gal and Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express). This look is subtle enough to pair with a bold lipstick or keep it low-key with gloss.

Streaks of Sass

As I mentioned, I've been trying out my new hair chalk by doing a few subtle streaks. Last week was purple and hot pink. This week is burnt orange and brown which mixes pretty well with my blonde locks. Applying the hair chalk only takes about 3 minutes. My hair chalk is by Masters Pastel and is available on eBay.

Leopard Lover

What's the perfect accessory to wear with an oxblood peplum dress? A leopard print bracelet...duh. The perfect addition to a solid color dress, adding just a pop of feline sass. Find similar cuffs at J.Crew.

A Fashion Diva's Life Motto

Amen.

Faux but Flawless

I love any excuse to wear fake eyelashes. This NYE was another perfect, acceptable time for these faux feather-like lashes to take my makeup to the next level. My favorite brand, Ardell, makes these and are available at stores like CVS and Target for under $4. Ladies find their own process for fake lashes but I do my eye makeup in this order: 1) eyelid primer 2) apply fake lashes 3) eye shadow 4) eyeliner 5) mascara 6) eye shadow along bottom eyelashes

Chalk it Up to (Temporary) Change

I get lost in this hair funk every now and then...I'm trying to grow my hair out and I'm happy with my color but I just need a little change to spice it up. After doing a little research, I decided hair chalk might be just what I need to try. I found a set of 24 colors on eBay and made the purchase. I feel like Picaso with a lovely canvas of blonde hair to paint. I haven't gone extreme yet...just a streak of purple here or there. What's genius about hair chalk is that it washes out in the shower, making this the perfect solution to impulsive hair desires. Try a dramatic ponytail like Lauren Conrad...mama likes. How to Wear Leopard - Part 3

When accessorizing with leopard print, look for a good patterned piece. Learn to spot classic and classy print is key. Mix these pieces with any color and even any print to add contrast and a little spice.

How to Wear Leopard - Part 2

Another way to rock leopard print is with a bolder solid color. Leopard print looks amazing with red, oxblood, magenta, yellow, etc. Keep everything else with your outfit simple to make sure there isn't an overkill situation.

How to Do Leopard - Part 1

When implementing leopard print into your life, small doses does the trick. While most of the time, we think of leopard print in our wardrobe but in the home...that's fabulous. A touch of leopard print carpet here works perfectly.

Swimgerie

If you are always looking for a new sexy bikini, Shahs of Sunset star Lilly has the swimsuit line for you. Have Faith Swimgerie takes bikinis and lingeries and combines them for an ultra-sultra line that is sure to be noticed. Love lace and brazilian bottoms? Eat your heart out.

Saying Yes to Suspenders

I've always been a fan of men in suspenders but I've recently decided that I'm all for women in them, also. Keep them feminine chic with florals and lace or rock the masculine look with trousers and a button up top. Head to Pinterest for great ideas on how to make DIY suspenders or check out Etsy or Amazon for ones already made. Not quite sure about this look? Try them with one of your favorite pieces and keep them simple (perhaps and all black and white outfit).

Trendy in Teal

A chipped NYE manicure means one thing...a new paint job. Wanting to keep the sparkle alive, I opted for a new sparkle polish to put over my favorite blue-green hue. To get this color, try Sinful Colors' "Rise and Shine" and top that with Sinful Colors' "Nail Junkie".

One Happy Hoosier

What's more in style than your alma mater? Nothing. My roomie bought me this shirt for Christmas and I'll proudly be sporting this around Southwest Florida. Go Hoosiers!

Brows: The Bigger, The Better?

If you are looking for a way to spice up your makeup without dramatic lipstick and a lots of eyeshadow, consider playing up your eyebrows. Adding powder or eye pencil to fill the bare spots and add shape can give you the dramatic look you're going for. Make sure to not go too far outside your natural brows.

Better with a Bob

Bobs are back, babes. I've always said they were timeless anyway but now that celebrities like Shakira and Katy Perry are on board, my case is stronger than ever. Add subtle layers to help with volume and don't forget blunt or side bangs to keep this hair style fun. Hair dry from being over-processed and dry from the winter? This is the perfect excuse to chop your locks and get back healthy-looking hair. Have at it, ladies. Luscious bobbed locks await you.

Going Green

I'm pumped about this year's color for a million reasons.  I have green eyes, it reminds me of money and most importantly...it's my favorite color. This hue isn't just for St. Patrick's Day anymore...it's way more maj. Not a lover of all things emerald yet? Start simple with green accessories like polish and shoes (see above). Looking to add a splash of color to your makeup? Don't be afraid to try a green liner smudged below your bottom lashes and along the outer edge of your top lashes. Instantly funky.
