Must Be Magic

One of my favorite beauty products right now is this L'Oreal Magic BB Cream. This product comes out of the tube white and then glides on to your skin while transforming into a shade of your choice (I wear medium). It's very light and doesn't look caked on. I top this product with a little powder for daytime.

If you follow the "no white after Labor Day" rule, time is ticking for you, honey. Get out those fresh white pants and start planning your outfit for the weekend before the whites get placed in the closet, not to see light for many moons. I'm loving a little color blocking with the white pants for a fun weekend look. This hot pink top (from Tibi) plays nicely with the Saako Design teal necklace and yellow Yves Saint Laurent heels. Living in the Southwest Florida in the summer means one thing: sweat. Not a much more attractive way to put it...perhaps "glisten"? Regardless, this type of heat does not allow you for a face caked with foundation and powder unless you're totally kosher with your face melting off 3 minutes after walking outside. This BB Cream is super moisturizing and light. With SPF 30, it's perfect for summer. Unlike some tinted moisturizers, this cream doesn't look oily. This specific brand of BB cream offers about 5 shades and is under $9. Bargain.

If you haven't tried BB Creams, you are missing out. These creams are going to be around for a while due to popularity and their miracle ways. Think of BB Creams as one-step makeup time savers. These creams are made up of several products you'd normally apply separately. These multi-tasking creams combine moisturizer, SPF, primer and foundation. Use this alone or as a primer for your usual foundation. Celebrities swear by them. So...you know what that means...I have to have them. I can only assume if I use BB Creams, I will suddenly look like a glamourous movie star.
