Mandarin is Major

I can always be talked into a new shade of lipstick. Yes, it's a flaw of mine but there are worse flaws to have. I love my YSL red lip but it has a little pink to it. I needed a red with a hint of orange and boom...here it is. At my Fashion's Night Out event last week, I tried this color (Mandarin by Smashbox) and it is the bee's knees. It's not too thick and pasty-looking but it is matte...my fave. I'd suggest giving it a go and you can thank me later.

Sequined Sensations

I don't want to toot my own horn but about this time last year, I purchased a gold and black sequined loose top. Yes, it's true that I've never worn it and it hangs in my closet waiting for it's turn for a jazzy debut but...none the less, I knew what was up when I "had to have it." This sequined jacket, by Haute Hippie, was so lovable that a middle aged man walked up when I was holding it up and bought it for his wife right then and there. If that's not love, I don't know what is. Sequins mean forever.

Beautiful in Blue

There is not much to be said about these except for that I want them on my feet. Blue is in and I'm on board. It actually hurt me to take this picture instead of actually putting these beauties on my tootsies. I know where they live though...no worries.

Fabulously Fur-ocious

There is nothing I want more in life than a fabulous fur coat. Of course, I'd prefer a vintage one but I could settle for this beauty. As I held it up, a lady passed by telling me that I "needed it"...worst thing she could've said. Immediately I'm thinking about selling my kidney, my car, my soul. Picture this...glam dress with this coat, running around in NYC in Manolos. Ok, so we are both imagining Carrie Bradshaw then? Perfect.

Fashion's Night Out Finds

Attended my first Fashion's Night Out event this evening and found some treasures. The bigger the stones, the better. Green is the color. I'm obsessed with everything about these pieces and if they didn't cost more than my rent, I would have swiped them up.
