Oh So Ombre

Ombre is so chic when it comes to your locks so why not move that trend right to your finger tips? Inspired by a photo from Instagram, I headed in to Luxury Spa for my favorite nail stylist, Vivienne, to give me a new edgy nail design. Viv used a light pink Gelish shallac polish and mixed three different gold glitters for the ombre tips. Something a little new and fun for spring. If you're a little nervous about trying something like this, start with a neutral base like mine. 

Mani Must

I'm sure you've heard of gel/shellac manicures but if you haven't actually tried it, shame on you! Yes, of course it's a little more expensive but all things of quality are. I'm one of those women that notices one small chip in her nail polish and is in a state of absolutely panic until I I have removed the polish. No one likes a chipped mani...no one. My one recommendation: ask for three coats of the gel polish. This polish stays shiny for longer. Want to add a little sass? Ask for an ombre glitter design, like above. 

Colorful Combos

Color. Color. Color. Bright jackets and trenches are the bee's knees for fall. Let's not ignore the ombre nails in this photo...greens and blues are perfection here. I love that this jacket is thrown over a top that is purple and a totally different pattern..makes things interesting. Don't question these color combos...just do it.
