Chop Chop

I mentioned I was turning over a new leaf so in true female fashion, I obviously had to get a new hair cut, too! That's how women work - they make a big change in their life and then voila - they dye/cut/shave that business and call it a day. New hair, new woman...am I right?
So how did I land on this "lob" (long bob)? Well, everyone's doing it and with every photo I saw posted with this new 'do, I grew more and more obsessed with the idea that I too could chop my dead ends and get something fresh. As a gal barely over 5'2'', my long hair was starting to have the Wednesday Adams effect on me...or so I thought. It just wasn't doing anything for me and had lost it's trendy factor. Insert lob here.
I mean, Kim Kardashian did it so....

No Cuts, Just Contour

I can't say that I, myself, have hopped on the contour train...however, I can say that I'm completely mesmerized by the drastic results I've seen when it's done properly. Take Kim Kardashian for example...I would have bet money that she had a nose job. Turns out...evidently, she didn't...it is just intensely contoured makeup that is strategically placed to make the bridge of her nose look slimmer and her nose look overall smaller. Well-played, Kim. Here is a lineup of contouring makeup that is the best of the best.
Have at it! May the contouring odds be ever in your favor.

Second Day Hair: Part 2

Time to recycle your hair and rock that second day hair. To get Kim's look, tease your hair from your bangs back about 4 inches to the top of your head. Slick the rest of your hair up into a ponytail. Use your comb to pull hair on top of head up away from your scalp. Leave the sides tight into your ponytail. Tease the hanging hair in your ponytail for a little extra va-voom! Pump up that pony, ladies.

Fur-ocious

I refuse to wear real fur...have at it if it's your cup of tea but I'm personally too much of an animal lover for that sort of behavior. But, I'll tell you what I am down for...faux fur vest. In fact, I'll say that I'd be fine with a full fur coat. So comfy...so warm...so fabulous. And frankly, Rachel Zoe might as well be my own personal bible...I believe anything she says/does/wears. So...fur vests it is.
