Pantone Color of 2015

In case no one has told you, Marsala is the color of the year, according to Pantone (the color Gods). How should you wear this color? Lips, shoes, purse, tops, pants, you name it!
Get your Marsala on (and here I was thinking it was just a food this whole time!). 

Red, White and Blonde (I mean...Blue)

Whether you are hitting the beach, a bar, a BBQ or a pool party, you should be looking your best this 4th of July. While layering on the red, white and blue is imperative, there is definitely a classy way of doing this. These outfit options, from www.LaurenConrad.com, are three of my favorite looks. The far left option is perfect for fireworks, house parties, etc. Easy breezy enough for cornhole and still patriotic. The middle look is great for a pool party (could always substitute flats/sandals into this mix) or a BBQ. The look on the far right is a bit more dressed up and would make more sense for a more formal mixer or holiday cocktail hour. If you aren't too crazy about patriotic-colored garments, opt for some red, white and blue nails. Get fancy with nail designs (American flags, stars, stripes or solids). Essie Essential

I realized after all these manicures, I missed actually doing my own nails. Yes, it's a pain to let your nails dry and yes, I never fail to mess at least one nail up and have to start over but...it's my kind of fun. Since I've been on the hunt for the perfect red-orange mix since birth, I was dying to find this new Essie shade (Saturday Disco Fever). Oh hello, honey. With one coat of OPI base coat, two coats of this pretty polish and a finale of Seche Vite top coat, I'm ready to rock. 

Total Trifecta

This clutch is the trifecta...red, animal print and gold hardware. The Blair Clutch, by Rebecca Minkoff, is the ultimate day-to-night transformation piece. Don't deny that you just fell in love. Just when you thought all you needed in life was to find the perfect man, I throw this clutch at you and your realize your soulmate is actually a purse. Curveball. 

Rainbow Rockin'

If you wouldn't do slightly sketchy things to be wearing this outfit right now, then...I am not sure we could be friends. These orange pants are major. This Prada bag makes me want to cry it's so beautiful. These pumps are the fiercest thing since..ever. Color blocking gone fabulous.
