Steal of the Week

What girl doesn't like to day dream about items that she can't afford but would love to have? Well, I have been lusting over this Tory Burch bag (bottom purse) and another one like it for a while now but couldn't ever rationalize forking over $560 at this moment in my life. But, I still loved the style and unfortunately/fortunately for me, my current black purse is out of commission with two freshly broken zippers. So, off to Zara I went (was actually not looking for this purse) and stumbled across a very similar looking bag (top purse). This purse was less than a fifth the price and super cute! I'm very pleased with this bargain! Sorry, Tory...

Fashion Find of the Day

March is here, ladies and gents! With that said, unleash the beautiful spring colors. Mint is one of my all-time favorite colors so why not have a purse that color? This ASOS purse, only $56, is perfection with its scalloped edges and gold accents. Isn't Sunday for online shopping? Have at it, friends.

Every Girls Needs a Nude

It's So Black & White

One color combo trend that I'm all about...all the time...is black and white. I decorated my home in black and white and I love to work this pair of colors into my everyday wardrobe, too. It's such a classic look and it's hard to really mess up these two colors together. Here a some of my favorite black and white pieces out right now that are brilliant.

Floral & Flirty

I needed a little pick-me-up today. So, I did the only thing I know how to do...create an outfit that would take me from down in the dumps to up on cloud nine. This dress, by AnM, is the definition of feminine. It's floral, feminine AND flowy. To make sure I didn't compete with the fun dress, I chose these basic nude heels from Zara, a hot pink ostrich clutch from Target and these Charming Charlie rose gold bracelets. 

These are a Few of My Favorite Things: Fresh Purchases Edition

A good deal is never out of season. Here are few of my favorite recent purchases that didn't break the bank. The grey sweatshirt is from H&M and makes this casual top a little more edgy with the cropped bottom. Maybe this would be a cute top for those new wedge sneakers everyone has been rocking? On the top right is a mustard purse that I could just about fit in - but perfect for traveling or a weekend trip. The gold accents and studs adds a little something (available on Amazon.com). On the bottom is a pair of bright sneaks I purchased for under $15. Teal is such a fun color and the white/bright color mix is fun with a summer tan. 

Kate Knows Best

When Kate Spade is right...well, she's just right. A coworker of mine pointed this bag out to me and it couldn't be more up my alley. As a tequila-fan (until the next morning), I know the importance of a greasy breakfast sandwich the following day. 

Living in a Material World

Do NOT underestimate the power of sequins. Don't let things get to busy though when you decide to go all glitz and glam with a top like this. These skinny black pants help perfect this balancing act. I do love the unexpected teal heels with this outfit. Since they are solid, it's not too busy but the color is just enough of a pop. The cuff ties the shoes into the outfit. 

4 Ways to Wear a White Tee: Look 1

Everyone owns a favorite white t-shirt. So...why not utilize this staple piece more? Here is one classic way to wear your oh-so-comfy white shirt. What's more American than a white shirt, boyfriend jeans and aviators? Put a feminine twist on this comfy look with leopard smoking slippers, a fun colored bag, patterned scarf and some low-key jewelry.

When accessorizing with leopard print, look for a good patterned piece. Learn to spot classic and classy print is key. Mix these pieces with any color and even any print to add contrast and a little spice. 

Because I'm a Lady...That's Why

Okay...so that was not my outfit today. But, in my defense, I wanted to be wearing this outfit. Peplum is just so flattering...featuring the smallest part of your waist, while skirting over the inevitable post-lunch food baby. And who doesn't love a nice trouser? This gal loves trouser...or at least loves using the word as often as possible. Pair this outfit with feminine and class accessories. Nothing says class like Yves Saint Laurent. Gaga Oh La La

Sometimes Gaga is tramping around the city in slabs of meet but sometimes she looks like a lady like she did on this particular day. Bubblegum pink is always a favorite of mine. Add a Chanel bag and Louboutins and this girl is in heaven. For this look: Top, Skirt, Jacket, Gloves, Heels, Purse

Total Trifecta

This clutch is the trifecta...red, animal print and gold hardware. The Blair Clutch, by Rebecca Minkoff, is the ultimate day-to-night transformation piece. Don't deny that you just fell in love. Just when you thought all you needed in life was to find the perfect man, I throw this clutch at you and your realize your soulmate is actually a purse. Curveball. 

Gold Rush

Silver is like our childhood best friend...we'll always love them, we hold them close to our hearts for life and we call them up in times of need. But, there is a (not so) new friend in town...gold. It took me a while to warm up to gold jewelry a few years back when it was making its big comeback but I'm a loyal fan these days. Whether it's just a touch of glittery gold in a shoe or dress or 100% glammed out gold in a clutch of booties, I love to love it. 

Purse Perfection

When you are a bad mama jama and you need to treat yourself, an eye-catching Kate Spade is just the way to do it in style. My gal pal, Christen, swiped this bad boy recently and it sits here on her entry way table, waiting to be lusted after. It is a decoration all its own. What you can't see is the wallet of perfection buried inside...it's green, it's ostrich, it's mine (I wish). Christen, I applaud you for this purchase and I promise to not just love you for your leather goods.

Let's Get Faded

Ok, so maybe I am just obsessed with denim vests right now but forgive me. This skirt is gorge. The necklace and ring add a feminine touch to the vest. The shoes, while they would be hidden under this long skirt, are perfect for a little peek-a-boo action. If I had long locks, you better believe I'd have a ballerina bun on top of my head with this outfit.
