Steal of the Week

What girl doesn't like to day dream about items that she can't afford but would love to have? Well, I have been lusting over this Tory Burch bag (bottom purse) and another one like it for a while now but couldn't ever rationalize forking over $560 at this moment in my life. But, I still loved the style and unfortunately/fortunately for me, my current black purse is out of commission with two freshly broken zippers. So, off to Zara I went (was actually not looking for this purse) and stumbled across a very similar looking bag (top purse). This purse was less than a fifth the price and super cute! I'm very pleased with this bargain! Sorry, Tory...

#BostonStrong

It's Mother's Day so it's time to scream from the rooftops how proud of my mom I am. She brought me back this awesome Boston Strong t-shirt from her trip to Boston for her second marathon there. So, naturally I needed to style it and throw it on the blog. I paired this t-shirt with floral pants (H&M) and nude heels (Zara). Happy Mother's Day to my mom...a true inspiration and a marathon machine!

Black Beauties

While I don't get to wear these bad boys too often, when I do, it's a fabulous time. These Zara heels are one of my favorite shoe investments. They are a crowd favorite.

Jorts Jivin'

Jorts are at the end of a lot of jokes but all jokes aside, I am digging this version of jean shorts. This look is honestly classy. The key with jorts is to not let them be too tight. Too often, women and girls think that clothing needs to be super tight to look good. No thank you, ladies. If the jorts I wore above were tight, this outfit would be foul. Paired with an boyfriend-style blazer and some sexy heels...voila! Jorts done right. Give it a go this spring!

In My White Tee

I finally found the perfect pair of ripped light washed jeans...and they were less than $25. I rolled the bottom of these new beauties and paired them with a slightly oversized soft white tee (H&M). To stick with the simple and clean look, I went with my favorite nude strappy Zara heels. I needed some sort of statement necklace with this plain outfit so I went with a tortoise and blinged out necklace. Perfect little weekend wear!

Pop of Pink

I've been waiting to wear this kitty shirt for about 6 months and this was the day. The sequined pink glasses on the cat made it extra sassy. I paired this shirt (which I found in the little girls section) with a navy and white striped button up (from H&M), navy boyfriend pants and pink Zara suede heels. I'm obsessed, still.

Fuchsia Fresh

Typically when I'm out and about shopping, I'm wearing whatever is comfortable and for the most part, presentable. However, sometimes you need to just have a little fun with your outfit, even if going to cause you world's worst blisters...
These suede fuchsia pumps, from Zara, are my everything. Sure, they are undeniably impractical. But...most importantly...they are princessy and perfect.

Emerald Envy

I love any opportunity to show off how lovely my friends are...so here she is, my gal pal Grace again! On her trip to California with her new fiance, Grace strutted her stuff in Napa in this getup. Of course I am obsessing over this skirt - not only my favorite color but also the Pantone color of the year! Perfect length, as well. The graceful bun is a great way to highlight and feature such a pretty and fresh face.

Floral & Flirty

I needed a little pick-me-up today. So, I did the only thing I know how to do...create an outfit that would take me from down in the dumps to up on cloud nine. This dress, by AnM, is the definition of feminine. It's floral, feminine AND flowy. To make sure I didn't compete with the fun dress, I chose these basic nude heels from Zara, a hot pink ostrich clutch from Target and these Charming Charlie rose gold bracelets.

Can't Touch This

I'm all about funky pants. The closer they are to something MC Hammer would wear, the more I'm likely to wear them. I'm not sure what it is that I like about high-waisted pants so much. Is it that they are usually stretchy so when I pig out at lunch, my belly is hidden? Is it that I'm just all too attracted to anything that slightly resembles something a 70-year-old would wear? Either way, you better believe when I'm prancing around in these bad boys (from Target), "Can't Touch This" is on repeat in my head.

Girly Glam

Hot pink and sequins? Welcome to my heaven. I was beyond enthused about these hot pink suede heels from Zara and couldn't wait to find the ultimate outfit for making them pop. This white sequined blazer was a fab find at H&M for $30 (it's probably not necessary to say that I almost cried tears of joys) and I think it's the perfect mix of summer crisp white and glittery glam with the sequins. The necklace added the additional bling factor (from Charming Charlie - $27). Of course, this outfit wouldn't be complete without some fun hot pink lipstick (Urban Decay).

Mixing Neutrals & Brights

I'm a huge fan of these watermelon-colored pants (from Gap). Not only do they have a little stretched to them, but they are the perfect length (everyone knows it's a tough world for a girl with short legs to find pants that are the correct length). In order to not be too overpowering in this hue, I opted for a toned down denim top (TJ Maxx) with nude heels (Zara - not majorly uncomfortable!). I layered gold bracelets (a mix from H&M, Forever 21 and Francesca's) and my Michael Kors boyfriend watch. The bold necklace (J.Crew) ties the outfit together and adds a little color on top. Not bad for throwing something together before rushing out the door.

Cute in Cobain

This has to be one of my favorite outfits that I've put together in the last few months. The Kurt Cobain t-shirt (from Forever 21 - $8) gives a little edge to these patterned pants (H&M, duh). I love the unexpected mix here. I chose my new Zara black heels and a chunky chain necklace (channeling my inner Mr. T - available at Express). Topped with red lip stain and white nails, the look is complete! Edgy and fun - perfect attire for a girlfriend reunion!

Sparkles, Spikes and Sassy Shoes

There is no better feeling than getting new high heels...in the world, there isn't a better feeling. You'll never be able to convince me otherwise. But, seriously. The arrival of these heels, from Zara, was the only thing that has kept me going since last week. Is it just me or when you know a new pair of heels is coming do you obsess over what the perfect outfit would be divine with them? Thought this would be the perfect opportunity to bust out my tight mustard pencil skirt from H&M. I paired the skirt and heels with this white and black blouse from Forever21. The necklace added a little feminine touch to the buttoned-up blouse. I kept the rest of my jewelry simple (or non-existent) and rocked a little magenta Sephora lipstick for a pop of color. Loving this outfit.

Grace-fully Chic

My girlfriend, Grace, has always had the gift of a fabulous fashion sense. And as you can see from the pic above, she is still rocking that style in her present life in the windy city of Chicago. She assembled this top-notch outfit with the help of some of our fave stores (details below). Loving her necklace/collared top combo - always a hit in my book. Here is what I love about Gracie...she doesn't have to be flashy and overly dolled up...she just has a naturally polished look. Keep on keeping on, Gracie girl.

Spikes & Such

Spikes are everywhere. They are on my blazers, they are on my smoking slippers, they are on my jewelry. A belt with spikes AND a bow? Whoa. Totally speaking my language. Find this belt at Zara. Place at the small of your waist over a dress...the perfect way to broadcast such a fabulous accessory.
