Walk Fiercely in Winter

If I had to pick one look to rock all fall and winter, this would be it friends. These boyfriend jeans, from J.Crew, are so forgiving and even more comfortable. A chunky cable knit sweater is comfy and practical. Throw on your favorite pair of ankle boots, a plaid scarf, winter hat and call it a day. No need to accessorize with jewelry for this look but I added a funky ear cuff just for a little edge. Voila - chic and bundled up!

#BostonStrong

It's Mother's Day so it's time to scream from the rooftops how proud of my mom I am. She brought me back this awesome Boston Strong t-shirt from her trip to Boston for her second marathon there. So, naturally I needed to style it and throw it on the blog. I paired this t-shirt with floral pants (H&M) and nude heels (Zara). Happy Mother's Day to my mom...a true inspiration and a marathon machine!

J.Crew on J.Crew

You really can't go wrong with J.Crew...or at least that's my opinion. Are you with me?
This blinged out statement necklace is the perfect accessory to be paired with this light sweater (which is totally transitional from casual to dressy).

Salon Style

Every time I go to the salon, I feel inspired to wear something fun. Why? Because stylists are always so expressive in the way they dress. There are studded combat boots, half shaved heads and hot pink locks. To make sure I didn't feel too bland, I sported my favorite ripped jeans, leopard print gladiator sandals, army green vest and Kurt Cobain t-shirt. To add a little girlie to the mix, I sported my necklace from A.Haley Boutique over my tee.

Car Shopping With Cole

While in the process of car shopping, it's important to dress the part. Is this really the case? Not in a sane person's world. However, it all makes perfect sense in my mind. So, before heading to the dealership, the natural thing for me to do was to slip on my favorite driving loafers. These Cole Haan beauties are one of my favorite purchases...ever (and that's really saying something). Not only are they are classy little additive but they are comfy (saving me from the dreadful blisters my typical sky-high heels inflict).

Local Boutique Bliss

I finally made my way into A.Haley Boutique and found a couple of gems that I'm so excited to weave into my wardrobe. I love timeless looks and on this particular day I tied one of my favorite sweaters around my shoulders for a preppy look. It made sense to bring a little glam to the outfit and not go with the predictable pearls. This necklace was under $20 and there were a ton more to select from. Thanks, A.Haley for this beauty!

Rock Your Favorite Vintage Tee: Look Two

There is nothing like a glam maxi skirt to dress up a vintage tee. I love this royal blue maxi, especially with the gold accents. It feels very...rich. I tried to keep the accessories and shoes a little more edgy with this look to keep it dressier. These gold gladiators are everything. They are comfortable yet look so funky and dressy all at the same time. I need this outfit on my body...asap.

Rock Your Favorite Vintage Tee: Look One

Mine isn't Nirvana...it's Pink Floyd but regardless, most people have a favorite t-shirt. I love mixing pieces that are a little, umm...unexpected. Strappy heels, red lips and a glam statement necklace with a vintage tee? It's alright by me. Toss on some boyfriend jeans (these are from Gap) to complete your ensemble. Make it your own with your hair. Try a sleek middle part do, loose Kardashian waves, a top knot or even a thick side braid. Voila!

Fashion Find of the Day: Having a Spring Moment

For my friends up north...like you needed another reason to be excited for sunshine, warmer temperatures and spring days. Behold my fashion find of the day comes from Topshop. This floral print jumpsuit is my idea of the ultimate outfit...no matching a top and bottom and it's effortlessly glam. I'll take a floral, black and white please.

In My White Tee

I finally found the perfect pair of ripped light washed jeans...and they were less than $25. I rolled the bottom of these new beauties and paired them with a slightly oversized soft white tee (H&M). To stick with the simple and clean look, I went with my favorite nude strappy Zara heels. I needed some sort of statement necklace with this plain outfit so I went with a tortoise and blinged out necklace. Perfect little weekend wear!

New Fave DIY Moment: By Meg

One of my besties, Megan, told me she was having the hardest time finding a button up with a fun and bedazzled collar. So...she found a way to create one herself. She took a part of vintage-looking earrings and fastened one to each side of her collar. How brilliant? This is the perfect way to mix match one shirt for several unique outfits. Love it, Meg!

Happy Houndstooth and New Year

I recall, and might I add...very clearly...disliked houndstooth when I was a little girl. But, as my mother always told me, things are cyclical. And just like that...houndstooth is back and cuter than ever. This dress (from Target...get out, right?) is thick enough for a true northern winter outfit or worn alone for a southern "winter" day of 75 degrees. I paired this fab find with black tights, black pumps, a crisp white button up top and a tassel necklace. And of course, I topped off this outfit with red lips (NYX matte lip color). I'd suggest snagging this dress while it's available!

White Done Right: Part Two

I'm all about peach right now. So why not do a softer outfit for the weekend while still getting your last dance with your favorite white pants. This Alice + Olivia top plays a very feminine role in the outfit and I'm all lovey eyes about it. These Steve Madden heels, which are similar to my favorite Zara heels, keep the focus on the pop of peach color. The tribal bag, from Charlotte Russe (what a steal!) adds some print to this whole scene. The knot earrings, also from Charlotte Russe, and the spiked cuff brings some bling and edge to the girlie and soft vibe. Mama likes.

Emerald Envy

I love any opportunity to show off how lovely my friends are...so here she is, my gal pal Grace again! On her trip to California with her new fiance, Grace strutted her stuff in Napa in this getup. Of course I am obsessing over this skirt - not only my favorite color but also the Pantone color of the year! Perfect length, as well. The graceful bun is a great way to highlight and feature such a pretty and fresh face.

All Tied Up

Sometimes I throw on mix-match sweats and t-shirts when I'm out and about running errands and sometimes I like to look presentable. With a trip to the salon on my calendar for yesterday, I decided to put on makeup for the first time in days and put in a little effort. This maxi skirt from Ann Taylor is the perfect summer shade and the perfect fabric for comfort. I paired the maxi skirt with one of my five identical J.Crew white v-necks. However, the knot changes it up a little bit. Since the skirt is high-waisted, putting the shirt up in a knot worked out perfectly. To add another pop of collar, I threw on this J.Crew necklace. I kept the shoes neutral (plus glitter, of course). These sandals are from Target.

Truer Words Have Never Been Spoken

When I saw this leather sleeved t-shirt at Target, there was no way I was leaving the store without it. I mean, this blog basically runs on the belief that the higher you tease your hair and the higher your heels, the closer to you are to heaven. So, why not announce it on your shirt? I paired this top with dark skinnies (Paige Denim), Aldo black patent leather heels, massive blingy earrings from Judy's Antiques. For my daily arm party, I went with spikes, snakes and skulls to keep the bad gal feel. For my hair, I used my new Remington curling wand (my first experience with a "wand"). I'm a huge fan!

Funky Friday

It's fun to mix two of my favorite colors...not to mention throwing in some leopard print and layering. Holy fashion heaven. This J.Crew pink sweater is perfect for layering with my Forever 21 white collared shirt. These acid-washed teal pants (H&M) are cute as can be all rolled and ready to rock. I layered this necklace (from Charlotte Russe - $10) in my usual fashion. To throw in a curve ball and since everything was getting a bit "matchy matchy", I opted for these leopard flats. Voila - fun Friday outfit!

Lovely Layering

In order to wear some of the dresses/tops to work that I love, sometimes layering helps to make that possible. This purple dress, from Gap, is lightweight and perfect for work. However, why not add a little dimension to it by pairing it with a top? This top, from J.Crew, is the ultimate fix. The color and pattern and not over-powering and makes the dress even more office-appropiate. I topped this outfit off with some espadrilles from Aldo and some layered bracelets (vintage, Forever 21, Michael Kors).

Pretty in Pink

Pink is everything right now. Of course, if you asked me, I'd say pink is everything all the time. This pink sweater, by J.Crew, is the perfect pop of color with this Forever 21 white flirty skirt. My bedazzled white flats from Francesca's bring together the outfit with the silver, blingy jewelry. This necklace, from Charming Charlie's, dresses up the sweater. The bracelets (vintage, Francesca's, vintage) are a fun chunk of silver to break up the pink on my arm. Who doesn't feel lovey in pink?

Your Office is Your Runway

I can't get enough of this hammer pants (Forever 21), as I call them. Paired with simple nude heels (Jessica Simpson) and a plain white v-neck (J.Crew), these pants really add a groovy factor to a work day. Added a chunky, blinged-out necklace from Charming Charlie's and my "sock ball" to add a little glam to this 'fit. In addition, it was the perfect opportunity to take this very grey outfit up a notch with my new fuschia lipstick (post to come). Who says going to work can't be fun? Use your office as a runway to keep your 9-5 ever exciting.
