My Dad Would Be Proud

I never thought the day would come...and here it is. I find it very difficult to pass up a trend...unless it's those heinous platform sneaker monsters (should be a sin - I'm talking to you, Miley). So, when I see camo popping up everywhere, I had to give it a go. I'm not rolling out into the world with camo pants but I will experiment with something a little more subtle. I found this scarf at Forever 21 for I'm sure under $10. I paired it with a navy and white striped nautical sweater and hot pink lips (Urban Decay). Somewhere my dad is wanting to high-five me right now.

What's the quickest way to add a little spice to your outfit when rushing out the door in the morning? Leopard print scarf...duh! I did it this morning. I looked down at my red jeans, nude heels and white top and just felt blah. The scarf made it. Leopard and red is a must anyway.If you don't own one, I'd suggest making the purchase. Splurge or find a good steal...just do it. 

Bad to the Bone

It's Gwen Stefani meets the new Miley. It's Rihanna meets Fergie. It's bad girl meets fashionista. It's not a coincidence that these pants look like a prison jumpsuit. I want this outfit. Actually, I need this outfit. Bad to the bone. 

Hooked

Since I moved a year ago, I've been looking for the perfect piece of art to put on this wall in my bedroom. Recently, I decided to use the space for something useful instead...hanging space. I found these amazing hooks at World Market for $6.99 each. I put two in my bedroom and one in my bathroom. Add a glass of wine or two and I had myself a nice little week night activity. I'll say it...I'm hooked on hooks.
